Dr. Claudia Meinken

Dr. Claudia Meinken has worked in the field of intellectual property since 1996. She started her career in the patent and license department of a multinational company. Dr. Meinken was responsible for a large number of mostly very diverse projects. Besides managing large patent portfolios, she gained extensive experience in opinion drafting and in presenting the results to decision-makers. Dr. Meinken’s interest in cutting edge technology and her ability to think “outside the box” was fostered by her corporate career and is now part of her daily practice when defining optimal IP strategies and suggesting ways of implementation.

Memberships: She is a member of many professional associations such as GRUR, AIPPI, VPP, epi, Patentanwaltskammer, and she is appointed member of the Examination Committee for patent attorneys within the German Patent Bar Association.

Dr. Andrea Zehetner

Dr. Andrea Zehetner has worked in the field of intellectual property law since 2002. After working in a Munich patent law firm and her qualification as a patent attorney, including a period at the MIT Technology Licensing Office, she worked from 2007 to 2014 as an in-house patent counsel in research-intensive industries in a highly competitive environment. She was responsible for development projects as well as for IP strategies for established products.

Dr. Andrea Zehetner regularly lectures on patent strategy in the field of technology and innovation management at universities, entrepreneurship centers, and start-up seminars. She studied chemistry at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), where she also received her doctorate from the School of Biology.
